Ms. DiGiovanni has over 13 years of experience in the environmental consulting field. In addition, she reviewed and evaluated environmental due diligence reports conducted by other firms, which were part of multi-million dollar real estate securitization portfolios. These reviews were the basis upon which rating agencies rated loan portfolios in the securitization process.

Prior to forming Velocity, Ms. DiGiovanni was a senior environmental engineer at AquaTerra where she performed hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Site Assessments and conducted and supervised Phase III Remediation projects.

Among her many remediation projects, Ms. DiGiovanni supervised the million-dollar remediation of an oil-polluted marina. Once the remediation was completed, Ms. DiGiovanni obtained the “No Further Action” designation from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. This designation paved the way for the future development of the site as a residential community.

Ms. DiGiovanni is a Certified USEPA AHERA Asbestos Inspector and has completed the training for the following courses: OSHA 40-Hour Training for Health and Safety for Hazardous Waste Sites Investigation Personnel, OSHA Site Supervisor Training, and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Underground Storage Tank and Subsurface Assessment. Ms. DiGiovanni received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University.
